When presented to students, teachers and administrators in area schools, they ascertain the DiAD was very accommodating in lesson plans and manipulative play time. They also used the instrument as a channel for educating students on rhythmic patterns and repetition.  The DiAD has been observed to be a positive reinforcement for adult patients and children for both acoustic and therapeutic effects.
